Spirit of Devonport Ferry
Ferry Update - Wednesday 8 June 2016
Due to significant damage to the western pontoon caused by the major flooding this week, the Spirit of Devonport ferry will not be operating for an extended period of time.
At this stage we're unsure when major repair work can/will be done. The supporting pylons have been badly damaged, as has the anchor point on the shore.
We will keep you updated with information as it comes to hand.
If you need any further information, please call our office on 6427 7626.
Kimberley Bridge Closure
Update: Monday 18th July 2016
The Kimberley Road Bridge at Kimberley is currently closed due to a large hole forming in the road at the Kimberley end.
The Department of State Growth have advised us that pedestrian traffic will be allowed from Tuesday 19th July 2016.
If your child or children normally catch bus 62 or bus 25 from Kimberley, they will need to walk across the bridge to the Bridle Track Road corner. Buses will be departing at the normal time.
In the afternoon students will be dropped off at the corner of the Bridle Track Road.
Please Note: All children MUST be accompanied by an adult when crossing the bridge, both morning and afternoon, due to the damage in the road.
At this stage, the Department of State Growth has advised that the bridge will be closed for up to 14 days.
